I would like my items to arrive in the same package.
This will save the vendor money & ultimately save the consumer as well.

Before you commit to buy the items you should contact the seller and ask for a postage quote. Tell them your postcode and a list of the items that you are interested in purchasing. If you're happy with the postage quote then once you have purchased the items either wait for an invoice or click on Request Total to get a combined invoice.

Talk to the seller.

Next month EBAY have announced they are introducing Shopping cart this will help this process greatly. At the moment you can purchase all the items seperatly without paying for them . After the last purchase ask for a combined postage invoice. Somtimes this will be generated automoatically other times you need to wait for the seller to get back to you. Happy Shopping ๐

IMO it is very important never to make an assumption that all sellers will provide combined post discounts for multiple purchases. Some sellers do, and others don't.
As others have posted, it is essential to get a post quote for combined items before you purchase.

Always ask the seller for a firm quote for combined items, combined does not automatically mean discounted unless the seller specifies a discount either in the listing or through email contact prior to the item's purchase. You sjhould also note that items with free postage cannot be discounted, the ebay system will not allow for that as fees are paid on the selling price.
If you contact a seller and they eother don't reply or waffle about the combined cost and don't give a definite cost then either don't buy or be prepared to pay the full cost of postage on every item.
If a seller sends a combined invoice with no discount (other than for free post items) then if you pay on that invoice you are agreeing to the seller sending them together. Your other option is to uncombine the items and pay for each one separately, you can change the address on a couple of them to friends and family, then not only will they have to pay the flat rate 30c paypal fee on every payment they will have to send them individually or risk item not received disputes for all but one sent in a single parcel.
