How is it that sellers can sell faulty goods without responsibility.

I purchased a pair of childrens overalls. The straps were sewn on incorrectly to the point where you could not physically put them on a child.  I sent her photo's so she could see for herself.
She would only give a refund if they were posted back, it would cost me more to post them back than they cost originally. So as a buyer I am out of pocket either way.
All I could do was leave negative feedback which she responded to with 'they were in perfect condition."

She is obviously a dishonest seller. I am sure she would just resell them to another unsuspecting person if she did have them back.

But as a buyer it leaves me not wanting to buy from any China seller any more.  I can't trust them.  Paypal haven't protected me from her as they accepted her terms.
I see on her feedback that she has done this before with another buyer and they also couldn't get a refund.
Buyers beware, don't buy from this type of seller. Read all feedback and please don't change a feedback from negative to anything else if you have had problems, it is there to help people like me to make an informed choice.

yeah springy i have seen those listings they usually have a bin price of like $ 19.99 and postage of $145 hahhahaha. RED flags anyone?

I had a similar buying expereince but seller was awesome & we agreed to a partial refund USA seller though not Chinese.

I can resell at a really low price  the item as damaged but wearable for the difference.

Its sad but I think when you buy online from Intl sellers you do pay less but you must allow for the "YIPES", those buys that fall short of expectation or arrived damaged.

In your case is it possible to fix the problem? If so, is it worth trying for a partial refund to cover costs of repair?
