How long do I have for item not received claim?

 It is nearly 2 months, coming from the USA, but entered Australia 5 weeks ago, but with the AP problems I am willing to wait bit longer.  That is what AP recommended when I tried to report it missing.  But I do not want to leave it too long and miss out on being able to claim.

Has your item arrived yet kazumi? If not, where is it showing up on the tracking ?
