Just curious about other peoples opinion.
I have watched something get relisted over and over again for the last 18 months for the same price.
This item wil never ever sell at the price they want for it.....it even got to the point where I emailed them to give them the low down on what items sell for in that category, with comparison items.
Got a very pleasant email back saying thank you - but there is the item again for the same price, and that price means serious listing fees.
I really feel for this seller - they are wasting money yet they are still on the ebay merry go round....should there be a limit?

Lyndal is 100% correct. There is no need to disagree with people just because you hold a different opinion cat.

It is a comment that is against policy as it is misleading and discourages people to post freely on these boards.

Huh? Isn't that the whole definition of disagreeing?

??? Please explain how it is against policy???
How it is misleading and discourages posting freely on the boards??
Any and every ID is able to post on the boards as far as I know, unless there are any restrictions on said ID. And we all know that if one of our IDs is NARPed we can not just use another one.

Perhaps Lyndal you should read the site map more carefully.

lyndal is correct in saying that sellers risk being reported for "advertising" just by posting.
It is a cowards way out of losing an arguement but there are plenty that will report you for it just because it is on opiton for reporting posts.
See at the top left corner of the post is says "report abuse" well some seem to take it that they must do so everytime they see those 2 words.
Or if they can't get you kicked off the forums then they try to report your listings for policy breaches that are actually ebay policy ie use BIN/Best Offer but if you mention "make an offer" in the description some sellers get reported for soliciting a purchase out side of ebay BUT ebay are the ones to introduce best offer, so go figure.

Cats puts on ebay helper t-shirt ...
Well, its your own fault that you don't understand.
If you read the terms and conditions of the discussion boards before you posted, you'd know.
So don't start complaining on the boards now. Go and read that site map, before you do it again.
Groan... Theres been so many threads about this, its been done to death, boring
(can't quite get the tone right, but might sound familiar... ??)
