How to change my postage address when i have already placed a order?

Ok whatever address is noted on the notification of payment.

I don't think a buyer has ever asked me to post to any different address to the one given but i would be annoyed.No seller protection if it goes INR & all.

I would hate to cancel for the buyer to repay with a new invoice as i don't trust that eBay would not give a defect for it.What they say & do are 2 very different things.

The O.P annoyed me as they opened the account,bought something & needed to change their address all in the same day.I've read before about  buyers doing that to get cheaper freight rates.I dunno why the OP did it as they didn't say.

If a 0 fb 1st day account did that to me,I'd probably be wondering about it.

Actually i hv sent messages to the seller but didn't have any reply from the seller
Should I cancel the transaction first?

The buyer cannot cancel the transaction.....only the seller can do that.

Just wait till you hear back from the seller before you do anything else that may need correcting.

Just a clarification there, it is not the paypal registered address it is the one entered into the paypal ship to address confirmation stage when making paypal payment. ie you can change shipping address for any transaction at that stage without changing "registered " paypal address. Handy if you want to send it to someone else.

The confirmed paypal shipping address will then be reflected back into ebay order details, so if seller processes shipping from Ebay it will automatically be correct.

Most likely why ebay removed registered ebay address from sold notification emails as it was causing sellers to send to unconfirm addresses.

If seller wants to cancel and have buyer repay then use problem with buyers address reason, that shouldn't trigger a dfect

As lane suggests, the address in checkout is the one a seller should always send to.
