I am still waiting for a refund from a seller for an item not received.

A seller that I purchased an item from had the wrong item shipped to me.

They have made no effort to have this item collected and the correct one shipped.

They have also not provided a refund.

ebay customer service will not help me as there is a record of an item being delivered - of course they cannot know it was the wrong thing (I was not required to sign for the item).

The seller now owes me $300+ and will not respond to my messages. What more can be done?...

If you paid by paypal go into your purchases then over on the right hand side there is a drop down menu that says more actions click on that. Select resolve a problem and go from there. Once you lodge the item not received claim escalate it straight away as you have already tried to resolve the issue with the seller. Paypal will then look into it for you.

If you purchased back at the beginning of March you have left it far to long, you have to open a dispute within 45 days and even then it is up to you to return the goods to the address given to you by Paypal at your expense.

Your only hope now is if you funded the Paypal payment with a credit card, if you did then contact your bank about a chargeback. You will probably still have to pay to return the goods.
