I have a message stating my order was delivered on the 18th Feb and I have not recieved it at all.

Hello there.

I am not sure if I am in the right place or not, but I have been advised that my order has been delivered yet I cannot find it anywhere.

No you're not.

This is a member to member forum.

Item delivery is nothing to do with eBay anyway.

You need to liaise with the seller and the carrier. If Australia Post, they will only deal with the recipient post alleged delivery, so you will need to contact them and find where, when and how the item was delivered.

@the_rusty_knight,

As davewil has said, we as members of eBay (just as you are) can't give you behind-the-scenes information about your order.

We may however be able to give you some general information that might be useful.

Is the item coming domestically or is it coming from overseas?

Has it been received at a distribution centre from which point it will be delivered to you?

Have you received a "missed delivery" card meaning that you'll need to pick up the item from the post office or from a courier depot?

Was the item sent via Click & Collect?

How were you advised that the order has been delivered?

  • Was it by Australia Post or a local courier sending you an SMS or email?
  • Was it a tracking update in eBay?

If it was coming from an overseas seller, e.g., from US or UK, was it sent through the Global Shipping Program (GSP)?

  • If so, could this be an update stating that your parcel has been received at some point along its journey? (e.g., at Erlanger where it will be repacked, or at airport ready to be sent from US to Australia, or arrived in Australia and handed over to FedEx for economy delivery?)

Without knowing in general terms some of these details, there isn't anything further anyone here can add. Check with your seller as davewil has suggested, or come back with some details; it may be that some of the experienced posters here can shed some light once those details are clarified.
