Same as subject. When I up Max bid a message says I can't lower my bid, which I didn't. I don't know what to do.

Are you sure you are trying to enter at least one bid increment above the previous bid you entered?

Or perhaps you put in an earlier maximum bid with one too many zeros in it? You wouldn't be the first eBayer who put in a maximum bid of (say) $1000.00 when they meant $100.00.
