I bought an item but it was very poor quality, It took ages to initially for the seller to agree for a huge return postage, then another while for me to wait for item to get to him. He kept on giving me the runaround by saying "wait...just be patient etc." He has spend over two months doing this now I am not covered by anything ( paid by paypal) to get repaid for the item nor for the huge return postage. I contacted our postal service and they were happy to rfund me as long as the seller responded to their address verifying query, even though I explained to him that if he does that he doesn't need to repay me they (the postal service) will s I insured the item. He wont do that either what can I do? I am so dissapointed!!

Sounds like it was a deliberate stalling tactic, so the 45 days would run out.

So bad for you, this seller probably makes a habit of this.
As a seller I can tell you that quality can be an issue sometimes.
For example, a couple of years ago costume wigs started to come in a much lower quality than previously.
They came from the same supplier, who got them from the same manufacturer, and they came in the same packaging with the same photo. However, the product was suddenly complete carp!
The manufacturers had lowered the quality instead of putting up the price.
Mind you, it seems they didn't bother to tell anyone, or take new photo's of the carpy product.
I bought a set of electronic scales from (what seemed to be) a good seller here on Ebay, but the product was not up to scratch.
The display had lots of non-working lines, so you couldn't easily determine the weight sometimes.
As I could work around it i sent an email but didn't take it further. Next I saw the product was removed.
I assume this is what happened to this seller also, as the product had heaps of stock then just disappeared.
This seller is probably trying to offload the stock dishonestly, so he won't end up with a loss for scraped stock.
I hope you funded with Credit card so you can try to get your money back.
And be sure to leave appropriate feedback.

Exactly, what makes me whant to pop with fury is that a third party (the postal service) is more than happy to pay for it and just wantthe seller to respond a sign a declaration form stating he hasnt received the returned item. He claims not to have received that either.

Cant get my money back nor leave feedback as he mislead me for such a long time that the time limit is gone for both. The local postal service would have been happy to refund me as it ( the returned item) was lost, they wanted the seller to sign a non delivery declaration form. But he claims not to have received that either!! so he is lying about his address, or he received both and is just pretending. Obnoxious man!!!
