Have just received a phone call saying from E-Bay $399.00 being drawn from our account for a phone.
To dial 1 to speak to someone, dialed1 and immediately disconnected
We have not made any phone purchase.
We already have our phones.
Is this a scam call?
Cheers

100% scam, as posted many times about already on the forum
Not eBay nor about eBay purchases (even the real eBay do not call people who fail to pay sellers for their purchases)
Expect more calls now you have pressed 1 and verified you are a 'live' number

Watch out for emails allegedly from 'PayPal' saying your account has been suspended.
Don't click the very dodgy link - just delete the message!

robo call scams i get at least 1 a week from ebay or amazon so they say
funny i hang up and never get billed
very odd, you would think if i had really ordered something they would try harder to get the cash

How do you get an Australia Post logo and a dodgy link in a phone call?

I think what south coffee means is that instead of a phone number coming up when the phone rings there is the Australia Post. But that wouldn't explain the link so probably what's meant is that there has been a message with Australia Post supposedly as the sender and the link there.
