If you paid withy Paypal log into the Paypal site, find the transaction and follow the link to open an item not as described dispute. If the seller agrees to a refund then you will most likely have to return them at your own expense with full tracking, if the seller does not agree then escalate to a claim and Paypal will decide who wins, they will still require you to return them though.
Most reputable sellers wouldn't ask for the return of something in such a parlous state as those headphones but then reputable sellers would have parcelled them up so they made it there safely in the first place.
