I'm being sent unpleasant emails directly from a seller, not thru eBay

I have received an unpleasant email from a seller because I left a negative feedback. I bought a shirt, followed the sizes and have bought extra large ladies shirts from lots of sellers with no issues. These ones are small. I bought off this seller based on the description on the sale stating returns. I contacted seller stating my issue and could I return. He replied with no I don't exchange "seasonal" items, not stated in the description on the listing but offered the purchase of another for a couple of dollars less. So I left a negative feedback. Now he's sending me emails saying I'm inconsiderate directly to my email address, bypassing eBay.

Call ebay and report him & let them know all about it. Keep all the emails, even though they weren't sent through ebay.

I emailed eBay and await their reply. I'm in Australia so I don't want to call. Apparently he has reported me too for leaving a negative feedback. After all I tried to solve my issue with my purchase

Report & stop replying to any emails from the seller.

Seller states about measurement taken flat but does not include said measurements.

Seller says ask any questions,so did you ask what the measurements were? I wouldn't have bothered really,i hate no measurements listings & i hate asking unless it's a rare must have item.

Seller didn't measure, buyer didn't ask but buyer is right to hit the refund button & let ebay decide.

Measurements were stated in a picture on the listing. I contacted seller thru the item listing after delivery to state it was too small. I also read the listing again to make sure I could exchange / return. When he said no I left the negative feedback. I told him in one reply only the reason why I left the negative and told him I was reporting his email to eBay.

I didn't see any measurements & they should be in the description close to where it says about checking measurements.

If the measurements you saw don't match what you get, then it's a SNAD & the seller pays to return post under the MBG.

Much better to sort all those details out before leaving fb as the seller then has a neg/defect & has no motivation to do anything to fix things unless they are forced to.

Please don't keep replying to him. Just ignore it. It will only antagonize him.

Only sent the one reply, will not reply to anything from here on in. I checked everything again before I asked for an exchange. I didn't even know I could get a money back guarantee etc so I was even willing to post at my expense.

This was the response I got to my return enquiry. I assumed the transaction was finished with the lack of resolution to my problem

Measurements do not have to be in the description, the photos form part of the listing.

The seller provides measurements in photo form

The seller does accepts returns BUT if the OP had read the returns policy they would see that they are conditional - Only if item is not as described, expired or defective..

Seller has grounds to get the negative removed.

Sorry, no sympathy for OP - review all the information that is available in a sellers listing before you leave red dots, and then you won't have  sellers contacting you with "unpleasant" emails regarding the unfair and unreasonable feedback.

Any buyer that thinks there is a standard XL belongs on BBL.  Check measurements, ask if you are not sure.
