I ordered a product as a guest, i have paid but i have not received it

I have ordered something off of ebay as a guest and the money has come out of my account but i have not received the item. and because i ordered it as a guest i am not able to ask for help on what to do. I have emailed the seller about the product however they also have not gotten back to me.

Yeah, I agree - 4 months is over the top, I have had a couple the same - seller has re-sent after 2 months & I've ended up with duplications - offered to pay on both occasions but sellers didn't worry (they were only relatively cheap items & from sellers I buy from regularly).

Whenever I receive late deliveries from sellers I know are reputable, I always try & leave a positive comment but stating the delivery was 'slow' to try and let other buyers know not to hit the Panic / Defect button too quickly, but these latest ones have mostly gone outside the 60 ? days to leave any feedback.  Disappointing really . . . . . . .

Edit :  I'm hoping the Sellers realise whatever it is they are doing differently is NOT working - sadly, many of them will probably end up with a heap of defects

I had a parcel sent from China on Dec 28 arrive today. 2 arrived yesterday that were posted the same day. The one before that arrived in 4 days.

I know a couple of years ago there were a whole heap of parcels ordered in late October early Nove that took months to arrive. There had been some hold up with a container or something. Orders placed after that still arrived in 2 weeks, but that one lot took ages. I'd actually contacted all my sellers saying that my items hadn't arrived, but would be happy to wait longer.

They were sellers I'd bought heaps off so knew I'd get a refund if they didn't end up arriving (they had all offered refunds, but I said I'd wait a bit longer). One then told me that there had been a delay with a container for some reason. Then a little bird told me that people were starting to receive their delayed items, so I waited and eventually got mine too.

I wonder if there has been a similar hold up that there are items from then taking so long? I always assumed that what I buy comes by sea as they are all "free post" and in their shipping section they have a charge if you want it sent by air.

That's funny, I remember that also and I do likewise with my regular sellers - just message to let them know the order hasn't arrived - as much as anything in case they are getting other complaints, and I usually offer to wait longer and 9 times out of 10, low & behold, once I've sent the message the order appears within days & I feel like a fool 

But, TBH, there are a couple of sellers I buy from (only by necessity), but don't have 100% trust in - lol, I'm not always quite so patient with them & surprisingly, I usually only receive the re-sent items & not the original shipment 

I would say you are possibly correct and an entire shipment, whether it be container or air mail bag has been waylaid, but it does seem very odd all these latest ones have return address as Malaysia

I nearly ended up with a refund when I messaged one of my sellers to say the shipment finally arrived. I don't think her English is that good and I sent a message saying it had arrived and thanked her very much. Within minutes I got a reply apologising and that she would send an immediate refund. I sent another reply saying no, no refund the shipment arrived and she replied making mention again of sending the refund.

Dialed up google translate and sent a reply in her language and she replied back feeling very embarrassed and thanked me for being honest about the shipment arriving.

There were extended delays on packages for orders made during October and originating from China last year, as well. I suspect it has something to do with significantly increased mail volume at that time of year. 

Some of the sellers I've bought from have increased handling time to about 2 weeks or so, which I presume is more due to the new shipping metric / defect system, so it could be some sellers are quoting sea mail for the longer delivery timeframe without adjusting handling time.
