How long ago was the purchase?

Have you allowed enough time for postage from China?

Sometimes that can be in excess of 3 weeks

As a guest account I don't think you have any ebay buyer protection. The only thing you can do is ring paypal they might be able to open a item not received dispute for you.

For anyone else reading this thread, I have over the past week received about 9 or 10 purchases from China made late October & very early in November - fortunately they were mainly sellers I buy from regularly, so I had faith I would either receive the goods or a refund.  But for anyone new I can totally understand their concern.  I was in fact concerned about a couple of purchases made from sellers I had not dealt with previously, but in each case  communication with the seller was positive - I would be concerned whenever the seller does not respond to messages.

I would add, as stawks said, often postage from China can be in excess of (or around) 3 weeks, but I have also received items in less than 2 weeks, so not sure what happened Oct./Nov as whatever it was, it happened to multiple orders . . . . .

Just to add, the Chinese New Year celebrations also put a bit of a spanner in the works for 1 week but can be up to 3 weeks.

Thanks for that link, Padi.   I'll have to take that into account

and re-order before they have their 7 days off.

Also,  I just this week, received 2 parcels that were ordered in

late September/early October.

I suspect they were sent by sea, not air  -

even though they were marked 'air mail'

Stawks, I have noticed in the last 3-4 months that Chinese sellers are more and more listing with surface mail as their first option.  It surprised me as in the past I have rarely seen that as an option from China.

No worries Stalks, I got caught out a couple of years ago with CNY and was starting to get concerned before realising that those crew can really celebrate when CNY comes around......................... smiley-music012.gif

AAh, interesting stawks.  I've had my suspicions & was going to take a closer look, which I have now done.  Yes, all were marked as AIRMAIL and they are large letter size - BUT - out of 7 I have at the moment ALL ordered from China and with Chinese / Hong Kong Customs Declarations  :-

5 say postage paid Malaysia & return addresses are Malaysia and

2 are Vientiane Lao(s)

and

6 have Tracking Numbers

I will be the first to admit I do not keep up-to-date with trends, but I have often received orders in the past marked as PP Malaysia and noticed they are always very slow to arrive, direct from China arrive quicker.  Maybe someone actually knows the answer - I have just thought/assumed the sellers might send in bulk to Malaysia for on-forwarding to save on postage costs ?  What bothers me, is that this seems to be happening more often and is definitely affecting delivery times.

But seriously, I have no information on which I base my theories   Smiley LOL

Yep.   The 2 parcels were ordered from China, but the

return address is Singapore

But really........4 months?

They did re-send,  but now I have to re-pay - not so bad really
