hopefully it is not the phone - the seller has terrible feedback.

Stay with paypal - you do not have to pay by bank deposit.   Follow ebay and paypal guidelines and you will ok.

When the seller of such a highly scam-prone item as a mobile phone asks you to pay via bank deposit, it the very last thing you should do.

Protect your interests and cover yourself by paying only with Paypal. You won't be sorry.

They already have a negative feedback for an iPhone.

ABSOLUTE 'FRAUDULENT' SELLER! NO PHONE TO SELL! NOTHING SENT! NOTHING RECEIVED!

I've reported them as a low feedback buyer doesn't start selling high priced iPhones,(they've "sold" 4).

It has all the hallmarks of those Chinese scammers.

So hopefully the others paid by Paypal.

Op,don't ever pay for anything online using bank deposit unless you can afford to lose that money.

one way of scamming a customer is to list items with Paypal accepted (as eBay requires a safe payment method), then the seller has some kind of issue receiving your payment.

and asks for the buyer to cancel it and use bank deposit instead.

in that situation, always ask the seller to fix the issue They have with their Paypal account.

the main reasons a legitimate seller can have an issue receiving payment, is:

the email address they have given Paypal has a typo, or

they have not upgraded their account to accept payments (the basic Paypal account you get at the start, cannot do that)

so if I am asked to change payments for a Paypal issue, I ask the seller to check those things. It has happened a couple of times.

I would not change to bank deposit, ever.

but, I have not bought any items where the seller is likely to be scamming...so

that is just all for general information for any readers of this thread...as Tazz has checked what you personally have bought...take Tazz's advice ๐Ÿ™‚
