I purchased a Side Sleeper Pro Pillow and it's very cheap and obvious fake. What do i do?

I purchased a Side Sleeper Pro Pillow on eBay on 23 Nov 2015.  It was advertised as the original item 'as seen on tv' with a picture of the genuine packaging and specs.  When it arrived, it was an obvious and very flimsy fake.  I have owned three of these before and it is plain to see this is not genuine.  I contacted the seller and they denied it was a fake.  They told me they would refund my money ONLY IF I amended my feedback.

I sent them pictures of my genuine pillow alongside their pillow.  They told me 'it is anther 'version' of the pillow, 'which is why you think it's different'.  I wrote feedback stating this is a non genuine aritcle and they responded that it is and over 400 sold with no issues.  I do not believe these stats to be real and if they are, the people buying this product don't know what the genuine article should be like.

This pillow is filled with a very soft compressable material and it offers no support whatsoever.  The real pillow is a lot more dense and heavy and the cover is different.  It cannot be compressed as their fake item can.  As I have a neuromusclar condition, I need this pillow to help with my night time breathing.  It is very supporting and I am able to lay on my side for the first time in years.

The pillow they sent me just squashed down to nothing - it would be worth all of $2.00.

I am really upset by this because I really needed a replacement for my old Side Sleeper Pro.

I would say it's a scammer going by what I see. Don't ammend the feedback and put it down as a lesson well learnt the hard way. 😞

Did you pay by paypal? if so go into your purchase folder and from the dropdown menu RHS of page click on return this item and follow the prompts. if it asks why write what you have here it is a fake and not as described. DO NOT change your feedback the seller will not refund you. Let ebay and paypal sort it out.

It sounds like your previous pillows were memory foam or latex and this one is a polyster pillow - there is a big difference between memory foam or latex pillows and polyester filled pillows.

Polyester filled ones are usually the cheap throw away type pillow. The description does state that the filling is polyester.

well the original site says they are suppose to be foam. So if it's not foam how can it be the real deal?

on looking further do you think you might have purchased the Hypoallergenic Firm Feel / Body moulding first time and this time you have purchased the Hypoallergenic, - Soft Feel pillow one? could that be the difference?

Harley - of course it is not the real deal - the price alone is a dead give away that it is not the original side sleeper pillow.

Basically someone has copied the shape of the side sleeper pillow and filled it with a cheap filling. When someone is paying $22.95 including postage then common sense will tell you it is a cheap pillow.

yes but there are different pillows by the look of it some are not memory foam looking at the website.

There is memory foam, foam or air beads and the cheapest pillow is $59.95 plus P&H - huge difference in price to $22.95 including delivery.

Also h b h the seller told her it was a "New Version"  Side stepping the actual item I would say.
