I returned a faulty item to seller 10 days ago but they haven't returned my money

I received a faulty item about 2 weeks ago (item was used but had stains on it which weren't indicated in ad). I got in touch with the seller who was understanding and agreed I should return the item & would then receive a refund. I promptly returned the item around 10 days ago. Seller advised a week ago that it hadn't been received & I've since sent two emails asking for an update which haven't been responded too. What do I do now? PayPal resolution? (item was paid for via PayPal). Interesting the buyer charged me $8.95 for postage but when the item arrived it only cost $2.50 to post - can I request postage costs also???

Did you return it via trackable post?

If not then you have done your money if the seller is claiming it has not arrived back.

If you now open a dispute via paypal they will ask you to return via trackable post to get your refund.

Contact the seller agaian ask them to refund you or you will go to the police for theft.

And leave them neg feedback.

Thanks for your reply. No silly me didn't use tracksble post. The item didn't cost that much ($11) but its more the principle of the situation! Thanks again for your response
