I recently bought my nephew a gift from India and I just checked the Fedex tracking to see where it was up to. It's a very well travelled parcel!
30/9 Sellers town in India
1/10 AM - Mumbai
1/10 PM - Dubai
2/10 early AM - China
2/10 later AM - Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
2/10 early PM - Jakarta
3/10 AM - Singapore
4/10 PM - Sydney
5/10 2 hours ago - my local depot
I wish I could have travelled with my parcel! What an awesome trip it's been on. Thumbs up to Fedex, they treat their priority parcels with priority. It should arrive tomorrow, 2 days before Fedex's estimate.

I know, and not even a postcard. Very miffed! I scolded it when it arrived this morning.

Yes l know, but tippy*toes, just think of all those slimy, sticky, unwashed Hands that have held it, groped it, touched it, and passed it on the next lot of people, to do the same all over again, before they as well pass it on.
Your Parcel may not have sent you a post card, but you can bet it was well and truly "manhandled" enough times.
Wonderful, hope you used your Dettol Anti-Bacterial Wipes afterwards.

I'm far from being a germophobe, but I always wash my hands after opening parcels. Especially ones from India. They always have a grubby feel about them. Same from Pakistan.
I expressed my disgruntlement at my parcel for not sending me postcards. I showed it good and proper I did. I cut it open! That'll learn it.

Did that make you gruntled?

No, but it was immensely satisfying showing it I had the upper hand. You should have heard it squealing when I got the scissors out!

Couple of parcels sent from the US recently travelled the scenic route via Abu Dhabi, for some reason...and they originated on the American west coast, making even less logical sense
They also shamelessly neglected to send posrtcards, tippi lol
