We didnt at any time subscribe to EBAYPLUS yet they have taken money from our account last year and this year by the looks of it.  Totally illegal as I have not approved of this transaction is there anyone else who has had the same.  How did you get your money back.  Thanks MJ

At some time you must have signed up for the free EbayPlus offer, which in the T&C's you agree to them debiting you for the subscription, if you don't cancel before the trail is finished.

You won't get last years fees back but you may get this years back depending on the timeframe.

As padi said, you must have started the trial at some stage, and if you don't cancel it, according to the T&Cs you agree to the paid membership.

Have you just noticed that they charged you last year too?

Not illegal if you failed to cancel the subscription before the trial date ended.

I  don't use the service, but I think you will find it in Account Settings/Subscriptions. You can cancel it now to ensure you are not charged next year.

As for the current fees, I'm not sure how you go about getting them back. You could lodge a dispute with your bank, but if Ebay can prove that you agreed to the service because you didn't cancel it within the timeframe, then they won't refund.

People forget about subscriptions all the time. For example, many people download apps that become a subscription service after 3, or 7  days or whatever. They forget to delete it and then *boom'* they're on the hook.

There's a timeframe involved in getting the refund Jelly as shown in the link I provided the OP with, going to the bank won't cut it as the OP agreed to the T&C's for Ebay Plus when they signed up for the "free trail".
