If I bid on an item and its from a different country how do I know how much it is in my country?

If I live in the US and I bid on something that is from AU is there a big diffrence in the price? Will it be the Price I put in from US or from the other Country? IM so confused.

The currency will appear left of the amount you enter. You will be bidding in their nominated currency not in ours. Some foreign countries use the USD also. Underneath the amount will be the $AUD conversion.

So in brief you are bidding in their currency.

Good luck!! Smiley Happy

If you place a bid for an item that is listed in Australian dollars, the bid will be in Australian dollars - as retail says, there will be a conversion, which will look a bit like this

The red arrow points to the price in the currency it was listed as, and the purple arrow points to the approximate conversion. In your case, whichever listing you look at should have US $ there. When you go to place a bid, your bid is in the listing currency, so you will bid in Australian dollars if you place a bid on an item here, but before you confirm your bid, the window should show you an approximate conversion in your currency (of both the current bid and your maximum bid).

The important thing to remember is that the conversions don't include any of the fees that PayPal etc build into their own conversion rates, so for example if you bid on an item and it shows you that it's approximately $10 US, it will be a bit more than that (around 4%) when you go to pay.
