Without any more information than that, I can only think that if it's a secondhand book, there are some pages with the corners folded (some people do that to mark a page).
Thanks for your help but i cannot find the item on there now.It was a pool sail.Is all it was was the top right hand corner of the pic was folded over.
I can't recall seeing that on any images, sometimes there is little corner banners put there by eBay, but they'll have text like "Last One" or "Free Shipping" etc.
Could it have been a graphic effect on the image itself?
