Is it auction or fishing?

Yesterday I have won 2 auction, the price is really nice and I have not noticed that pick up is not accepted, not specific post fee is listed, I thought in Melbourne the post would not be more than 50 dollars. Today when I received the freight fee, I was surprised by how expensive it is. The bed frame is bid at $92, the post fee is more than $88, which added $180, which is actually the buy it now price, the mattress is bid at $152, the post cost 107, added at $269, I have noticed that the buy it now price is $249, which is even cheaper.  I feel that I have been fooled by the seller. They simply put the auction beginning price the same as the buy it now price minus post price to attract people, as they did not accept pick up, this auction is not a real auction but just fishing. I will never join any auction without giving the cost of post clearly.

Freight can be expensive. Are you sure the seller has done anything wrong ?

There is nothing underhand going on.

The seller specifically says there is no free delivery or pick up on auction items.  You should have asked for the Freight costs and then you could have made the informed decision to use the BIN option and get free delivery.

Yeah, I know freight can be expensive, but why do not let me pick item myself? The reception said if I go to the shop to pick, I can not get an Auction price. That means, they actually can let me pick up, but they would rather send item by themselves. Why ? because posting do not cost that much. Any way, If the post service is provided by a reliable independent third party, I would accept that. freight can not be used as another way to rise price unreasonably.

Another problem is as I saw the auction, the time is limited, no time to wait for there answerer of freight cost(which I guess would cost more than 1 day),  these two sellers are very top rated seller, they did not brake any rules of ebay, what I am trying to say is they can simply give the freight price clearly. If someone are interested, you can ask the seller whether it is the same price of freight no matter you are in Mel or Syd.

There is nothing wrong with the process.

I'm not completely sure but I think when " Freight " is displayed in a listing without a cost for it you need to ask about it during the auction because the seller needs to know where you live. Also some sellers let the buyer organise everything. Always ask questions first.
