I recently tried to buy presale Rolling Stones tickets through Ticketek for the Perth concert and had no success. Two of my friends each seperately tried to do the same with the same result. Within 15 minutes of the allocation being exhausted tickets appeared on ebay Aust.
You should check out some of the other threads as another sell just had a lot of drama buying event tickets. and it seems there is no cover if something goes wrong with them. Your best bet is to check out the T + C for the actual venue and event to see what their policy for on selling tickets are as some events/venues will cancel tickets that appear and can be identified on sale/auction sites.
