I searched for USB C cables, clicked more refinements near the bottom on the left menu, then selected cable lenght - 5M
I brought 20 of the cheapest ones and they showed up 2M, cheecked the description and yes it says 2M.
I didnt read the whole description because I trusted the eBay search refinements which I assumed is based on the item specifics entered by the seller when listing the item. eBay first said it was my fault as it clearly says 2M in the description.
Anyway after an hour long phone call they offered me a $100 voucher! stoked, I only paid like $75 for the 20 cables.
They said they'll look at their software and couldn't tell me why 2M cables shows up under the 5M search option.
Even more reason to read the entire description - Although it worked out for me this time, I can't guarentee you'll also get a $100 voucher, plus you'll have to spend an hour on the phone mostly trying to navigate the support agent to the right place to prove the search problem, and for some reason every support center I can remember dealing with have really slow computers or networks, what takes me a few clicks and 20 seconds or so takes them like 10 minutes with long gaps of silence wondering what the hell is taking so long.

I never trust that every choice I tick on the left hand side menu will be accurate.
Plenty of times I have ticked Australia only, and have had things in UK & USA come up.
I've found it always pays to read the actual ads.
