Is it right for people to purchase multiple Members only items and then sell them at a profit

I recently tried to purchase a members only product from my NRL team, only to be told that they had sold out. Then on eBay I find someone is selling multiple sizes at at least $100 mark up on what the purchase price. Is this the right way to work on eBay?

I have contacted the club and they say that they cannot do anything because eBay has no rules about it, yet they do for tickets. Tried contacting eBay but that is almost impossible

Talk to the footy club. They are the ones, in this case, who obviously didn't put restrictions on the number of items an individual could buy.

of course ebay cannot do anything about it, basically every item for sale on ebay was purchased by the

Seller for less than they are selling it for, that's called commerce.

you buy for a price, add a profit margin you think the market will pay, and sell for that incresed price.  simple.

you could try getting in earlier with your order, ordering a few more than you want and selling the others yourself.

There is always next year, anyway. Your team might not be as popular then.
