Hi, i am in the market for a new TV and have been watching heaps of these 55" LCD TV's ( LG/SAMSUNG )going really cheap on Ebay. Some sellers have next to no feedback and they are all from China. I normally check all feedback before bidding and have found some of these sellers have been selling jewellry before uping there sells to LCD's. Some have no feedback at all. They can go for as little as between $200-$500 which would normally cost me double that to buy over here. I dont want to lose my money so am asking you guys which may have a little more knowledge in this area. People are bidding on them and they are selling but cant find any feedback from anybody in the last week whom has purchased one. Do you think its safe? Or is there more scams on these than i think? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Nah, they just a scam
You will get nothing
or
You will get a faulty tv that will cost to much to send back
or
You will get a box with a brick in it, seller will provide tracking and you lose pay pal dispute
or
They will gain your details and sell your details on the black market
or
This scam has been going on for ages, they keep getting the id's shut down, but they create so many id's it is a never ending story.
or
All of the above
Save your self the bother, go to a shop, pay extra for an actual working TV

There is a chance you won't receive anything and even if you do, there is a chance it's a copy.
Then if it breaks down, no warranty.
Buy cheap, get cheap. There are no short cuts in life.
The only way to possibly get a cheaper item of this sort is to find someone here in Oz having purchased one and changed mind. (New in box) And one that you can inspect before you pick it up. ๐

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do not touch it with a bargepole.
There have been several threads just in the last week about these sellers. As fast as they are closed down they start up again with another ID.
Do not try to communicate with them in any way as definitely do not bid....most of them are more interested in getting your details....ebay ID, email address etc and then if you do happen to win they have your real name, address and phone number.

For purchases of this nature- imagine the hell you will go through should your item require a return- let alone the scamming risk.
Some things are not meant to be purchased on ebay- this is one of them.

There are no TVs.
They're all fraudulent listings for non existent items.
They're reported to ebay daily.
At least 50 Scam IDs and their fraudulent listings were reported to ebay today.
Ebay are quick to remove the IDs with 0 feedback and are slow to remove the IDs with a few feedback for selling cheap jewellery.
They're all scams nonetheless.
