Issues trying to pay via Paypal?

I purchased 3 item from the same seller this afternoon, I still haven't received the purchased item email via ebay.

When I try to pay for the items via Paypal I get the error message 70200

Anyone else having these problems?

No Freddie....you are just lucky I guess.

Wait a while and try paying again....I had the problem last week and it was a few hours before it came good.

Have you tried going direct through paypal instead of through ebay checkout?

It has been happening to me a lot lately so I just wait until the next morning to pay.

It only seems to happen if I want to pay at night.

Yes, each time it has happened to me it has been at night.  Last Friday was about 8.30pm so I thought it might have something to do with the end of ebay maintenance.

It always seems to come good before I get to the stage of panic though.

Strange that I didn't receive the won/ pay for item email as well.

freddie maybe the seller has all the automatic sent by ebay emails turned off and they are going to do the invoice themselves.

I can't think of any other possibility unless your email from ebay has gone missing in the ether.

you could contact the seller and ask them to send you an invoice if you want one before you pay.

eBay no longer sends out "You've won" emails for BIN items, only auctions. Sellers who use Auctiva or similar usually have an auto email.

For BIN items eBay sends a "Confirmation of your order" email after you've completed checkout then the Update email once the seller has added tracking info or marked the item as posted.

Thats what happened sportandplay, once we could finally pay via paypal we received the Confirmation email.

All's good we were able to pay via paypal late last night.
