Item Missing from Purchase, Asked for more postage to replace it.

I ordered item and payed by PayPal. Item arrived 2 weeks later from Singapore to Australia. Item purchased was opened and missing parts. Contacted Buyer, was asked to send photographs of Items received. I did so. Was informed that i would need to pay $3 AU extra postage for item. Still waiting after 3.5 weeks for missing item to arrive. Seller doesn't respond to emails. Avenues of recompense?

open up an item not as described dispute through ebay. They cannot ask for more money to send the missing part.

If after opening the dispute you don't get anywhere with them then ask ebay to step in, there will be a date that you can do this once you open the dispute with a link.

definatley open up a dispute and dont pay extra as its their stuffup they have to fix it.
