Hello, I purchased a poster for C$113 last October. The item has not arrived. Under the order details it always stated the item would arrive by Feb. 28. Now it's changed to March 1. As I'm only now learning, I don't have the ability to get a refund because I've let too much time pass. I did not know this, as the order details led me to believe I should just wait patiently (it stated orders are shipping longer than usual because of the pandemic). What can I do? I don't think it's fair as I feel I've been misled by eBay. I'm extremely unhappy about this. Thank you.

No I did not pay thru Paypal, but with my Visa debit. Would I be able to get them to reverse the charge?

It's coming by boat. Still not a lot of boats sailing yet.

This is what it used to say next to 'delivery info' up until a few days ago.

I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing a similar problem? I can't be the only one.

No.
I don't buy International and I certainly would never accept surface mail.
You are probably in a small minority who think that surface mail is a good option in this day and age. especially through eBay, who have specific, tight guidelines for buying

Is there anyone else who cannot lodge an "item not received" request?

Try this, at the bottom of the page is a Contact Us link. You should be able to Chat with eBay. Tell them you have images of the estimated delivery etc, and ask them for the email address so that you can send them the images. You can’t upload pics in the chat but they can provide you with an email and from there they can look at the pics. You may even be lucky that they will offer you a full refund despite not being able to open a case.

Nexa, can you go back into your purchase history and change the dates in the search option.
I think your purchase has been archived, that’s all.
Once you find it, you should be able to select to open an Item Not Received case there.
If all else fails, you can make a claim at the bank…. But make that your final option.
Also, when speaking to live chat, have the item number handy, so they can reference the sale. You could probably search for it using the item number too (I wonder 🤔)
Estimated date of delivery changes, due to the current world crisis. (Pandemic). Short staffed, closed businesses, changed postal restrictions and sanctions. Etc.
Canada did have some restrictions to Australia and from Australia, not sure if they’ve been lifted or not. I know Ireland are still not accepting from, or posting to Australia.

Also, you might have just received an email from eBay about the new changes to the eBay User agreement. Check the personal email account you have attached to your eBay account.
It has a reply email you can contact. Try that, too 😉
