Item cancelled by ebay what next?

I bought an item paid straight away with my debit card. About half an hour later i recived an email from ebay saying they had cancelled the item. I can get no reply from the seller and I want to know if I am getting my money back or is this a scam?

It is not a scam.

If ebay has cancelled the item you can open a dispute to get your money back....it is not an automatic process.

Hi, sorry to hear of your issue. There could be a few reasons as to why seller has cancelled the transaction. Keep an open mind on this one.

You can as Lyndal said open a dispute.Either via eBay or PayPal. And if you paid via PayPal you'll get your money back.

Could I ask please, was it an auction with you as the winning bidder or was it a Buy-it-Now scenario?
