Hey
Firstly thanks for taking the time to read this...
I've just recieved my item... Dripping with water..
I purchased a peice of computer hardware, and the packaging was just destroyed, Tape had been used in places to the cardboard togeather........the thing was damp when i touched it.
Upon opening it i found the card pretty much swimming in water.
I've let the seller know, but i'm lost as to what i should be doing next? i'm down about $110 on this (including the $30 for shipping)
I've attached a picture of the card
any advise would be greatly apreciated 🙂
Thanks

I've answered your question on the answer board, but a quick update here as I've noticed you bought from the US.
First, give the seller time to respond, especially given time differences and he's a new seller. Keep the packaging as you may need it if the seller paid for insurance and wants to do an insurance claim.
You will be covered by paypal and (if you were logged into ebay US when you purchased) by ebay.com buyer protection. Worst case, you'll have to pay for registered post to return the card, which should cost about $19.70 (assuming less than 500g), and then you'll get your whole (item plus postage) initial payment back.

Just a quick note on the postage. If the otem was posted through the GSP, I am pretty sure that you don't get your postage price refunded. Simply because it was 2 seperate transactions - one to the seller and one to PB's. PB's have obvioulsy done their job. They delivered the item. PayPal will only refund what was given to the seller.

Hey
yeah i though i could possibly save it.
but i can see rust already developing.
i had a tech at work look at it and he has advised me against installing into the my machine.
Best not to risk it.
Thanks! hehe
