Re: Item has not arrived

What do you need to need to know from other members?

We cannot try to help with zero details

What was the estimated delivery date?

Where was the item coming from?

Where is the seller registered?

Have you tried to communicate with the seller?

What does the tracking say (if you got tracking?)

Is this from the seller in China who most recently left you feedback?

You have been on eBay 18 years, so I'm sure you are aware you need to open a dispute for item not received if there really is an issue and not just a 'postage delay' due to Christmas/New Year (especially if it is coming from China, where you can throw Covid again into the mix)

Re: Item has not arrived

Due to Christmas and New Year I waited for the item to arrive and the eBay refund period expired by a few days (4 in total).

The item has not arrived and appears to be lost in transit.  I have emailed the overseas seller to refund or resend and had no response.

Does eBay have a grace period given the time of year and shipping issues where they can issue a refund

Re: Item has not arrived

Est delivery was prior to Christmas.  20th I think.  I waited until the 30th

Delivery now states 25 Jan to 25 Feb, however the eBay refund period expired on 26th Dec

I have sent a note to the seller on 30th Dec and they are apparently away

The seller is in Riga, Latvia

Tracking says the item arrived in Melb Australia in Dandenong South on 17 Dec at 6.19am and was transferred to a more local Post Centre on the same day at 6.36am.  But it has been stationary since then, ie not delivered

Re: Item has not arrived

I find it helpful to contact Aus Post through a PM on Facebook. Just send a friendly note with the basic info and ask them to please take a look since the parcel has not moved.

They usually respond within 24-48 hours on FB, but much longer if you lodge a formal enquiry.
