I’ve had an ‘item not described’ case opened and customer support had put a hold on until the 13th. I’m waiting to hear from them rather than the seller I bought from as they have been really uncooperative and refused a refund and return multiple times. Today (14th) the seller contacted me and agreed on a return and full refund, but I haven’t heard from ebay. When I check the case in the resolution centre it says “Hang on, we're still reviewing your case, We'll be in touch with you soon”. I’m expecting ebay to contact me but not sure if I should just return the item now or wait for eBay to contact. I don’t want to risk having the seller say they didn’t receive the item I sent back, and keeping my money. How long should I expect for ebay to contact me from now?

The 13th might be US time hence not cleared yet. My guess is seller has been given until then to respond and if they dont Ebay will refund you anyway. Hence why sellers has agreed. Did seller agree via dispute process or directly.? If they did via dispute then it should automatically give you the green light to return the item
if no response from Ebay in next day or so call them to clarify.

Same for me. Item not delivered. Has a faulty label on it and was returned to sender. Case extends every ten days. I swear on my nephew's life that my case which was put on hold until tomorrow will be put on hold again until the 12th and then again on Christmas Eve.
