I bought an item on the 28th Feb , Seller said she would post next morning, They had great feedback up until 29th Feb , this is why I purchased from them. I was happy she said she would post next next day as my son has desperately wanted the Lego Dimensions xbox 360 and I was going to give it to him for his Birthday on the 7th March.
So I Contacted the seller as It had not arrived by the 6th and no response. They now have recieved 27 Negs in the last week . I paid via paypal , I have a 21 day later pay option so techinally im not out of pocket yet, But am I best to open the dispute with Paypal or Ebay? Its kind of confusing.

Probably from here , some silly person just left feeback saying there was a tragic occurance with the seller just because the assumed thats whats happened.

Once again that feedback was left in the hope to stop buyers leaving bad feedback.
And then another buyer left feedback stating what might have happened.
That person has already explained why they did it if you read this whole thread then you will know lol

Mimipearl07 ............. I just have no words. I hope you realise this is a public forum and that many people will make their own personal judgements and take action accordingly because of the way a member responds on these boards.
i guess at the very least your original post has highlighted what could happen to any seller here and the horrid assumptions that buyers make in their accusatory feedback ........... and for that I thank you.
It also highlights that many buyers would rather be abusive, than calmly seek a refund through the proper channels which eBay and PayPal publicise continually.

Oh dear, disappointing to still know nothing. I can understand them not wanting to divulge too much personal information over the phone, but gee, a quick check immediately to confirm the persons well being would surely not be too much to ask given the circumstances. It only just occurred to me, if the gentleman lives in a caravan, perhaps he has a storage shed somewhere and may be there. My goodness, it makes me sick to think of the possibilities

You have been told who left that feedback and why it was left.....several times and also by the member himself.
Are you reading any of the posts here or are you just running with your own theories.
Calling a well respected poster "silly" is not going down too well here and you are sure to be judged by other.

I'm pretty sure though they would go an check after they got off the phone. I know I would .
What is something happened on the way to the post office , He lives in a carvan park, maybe he took a short cut through the woods and a bunch of walkers got him.
I think I watch too much TV

I'm no longer concerned about the eBay side of all this as I cannot abide some of the suggestions being made - just unbelievable - what kind of a world are we living in (although I do hope all buyers get a refund), just concerned for the well being of the Seller - and we may never know I guess . . . . . .

Yes, I would check immediately too. In fact. if I'd noticed anyone not around for a few days, I would have already checked !!
Lol, yes, it does come across that way at times
