Item-sent?

I bought an item from a US seller. As they had not shipped after a few days I queried them and their reply was "the item has been sent to the GSP and then you will get a tracking number". I thought that was a bit odd. Also the item is not marked as "sent". Do you think its on its way or should I be getting worried. I have messaged them back but no reply.

If the delivery date passes then open a dispute for item not received.

Ask the seller for the tracking number that s/he used to send the item to Erlanger KY.

And then chill out and be patient Michelle....you know you always panic far too early.

Thanks Lyndal but they don't seem very eager to respond to my messages. They could get a bit antagonistic and cancel the order. Don't want that to happen.

You are always too impatient....you know some sellers never mark their items as sent.

Well 99% of buyers do mark their items as sent. That's from my experience anyway.

A few questions so I can better address your predicament.

- How long has it been since your purchase?

- Pitney Bowes is known to make unilateral decisions about whether items are allowed to be shipped to overseas destinations.  Is your item likely to be one that PB decides is not allowed into Australia? i.e. food items (even for pets), plant or vegetable based (hamster bedding), pharmaceuticals (even for pets), a knife or guitar

- you do understand that how many times have you messaged this seller about anything?

- have you bought from this seller before? If yes, did you get your item? If no, did you get a refund?

While it may seem that I am being unnecessarily nosey, I am just looking to get all the information about the transaction rather than have it be trickled out bit by bit . . . . . . this will enable me, and others, to make an informed reply to your Opening Post.
