Just wondering if anybody else has seen a significant number of items not arrive lately. After going years without a hitch with deliveries, of late I've had a number of items not arrive.
So far I've been refunded by the sellers so no issue there but frankly it's the items I want, not my money back. None of the items have been expensive either but when you wait a few weeks to save a few dollars it's frustrating to have to re-order them and start the waiting process all over again.
Anybody else had this issue lately? At this point in time I feel it may be an Auspost issue.

I think I have had perhaps 5 item not received claims in well over a decade, not a one since i started using click & send. the ones i had were all for low cost items because anything I was not prepared to cover a refund on was sent with full tracking.

Hey kirralaa_dist,
Sorry to hear that many of your items have not arrived. I can certainly understand why that would be concerning, especially if this has happened numerous times. Glad to hear that you have been refunded from the sellers, but of course you still want the items.
Have you been in contact with Australia Post in regards to this issue? Have you logged an enquiry with us? This could be a sign of a delivery issue in your area not necessarily an issue from the senders.

I have got a few on the go at the moment.
Check this one out. Proof of incompentence with delivery. Sent from Yarraville Victoria on 23/7/13 and delivered to another metro Victoria suburb TODAY tracking number is 83202023564092, look that one up Australia Post and tell me where the heck my parcel has been.
Lucky I lodge over the counter - if I didn't you can bet my cotton socks that the customer would have thought I had dragged my feet in sending it.

My longest is 13 days from Sydney to Qld - I had items arrive from Hong Kong more quickly.

Yarraville to Balwyn, it must have gone via one of the tunnels & got stuck it there !!!
The longest one of mine took was over 8 weeks to Canada by airmail from country Victoria. This was before the 45 day lock-out came into force.
I had one item take near 3 weeks to W.A. The items I send to within Victoria do fairly well, even set a record of next day delivery to a Melbourne suburb (considering our mail goes way out of its way via Traralgon - near the opposite direction to Melbourne).

I had been problem free for a few months with missing parcels. But alas, the problems are starting to trickle in now, and predominately relate to metro Melbourne deliveries.
Never, ever fall for the "no compensation for regular post without extra cover" AP line, its not true. AP have a discretionary compensation clause in their terms and conditions and failing that - they are still bound by consumer protection legislation to deliver the service you pay for, within reasonable limits.
I recently fought for and got the $50 discretionary compensation for a buyer where a parcel was tracked as delivered, yet had not been received.
Difficult for anyone to believe it had been delivered as tracked, as it was addressed to a flat that was one of many hundreds in a complex, letter box had very small opening so parcel would have had to be left mostly hanging out and it had a do not safe drop sticker on it in any case.

I have found that some of my items that have arrived and should have been signed for have been left any way without any signature, lucky for me but someone else might have got your items before you got home

I recently seem to be having problems not receiving items I order from China.
Two items I ordered at the end of June have never arrived, and two items I ordered mid July have not yet arrived.
I have received refunds for the first two items, but am still hopeful my other items will arrive (although it usually only takes approx 15 days for me to receive items form China.)
Not sure where the problem is occurring, only know it is driving me crazy.
