Large drop off in new listings today

Did anybody else notice the large drop off in new listings today?

in my regular antique searches I use to have between 10-20 pages of items, today it was 1-2.

as the day progressed the number of new items was really small , far less than usual. 

I cant believe it is a lull in seller listings but more a glitch in ebay search compiling.

This morning instead of the usual 15-20 pages there was around 20 items total.

What is going on?

What has ebay done to the search function ???

What it is, if you search by category like Pottery and Glass the results are incomplete , they only show a portion of the items but if you search by typing in a name like Remued Pottery you see all the items. 

I have no idea what Ebay have done to the search algorithm but not all items have a specific brand name or seller does not know what it is and it needs a category to be found.

If all items cannot be viewed via searching categories things will never be seen.
