Leave Negative for Global Shipping Program

The whole GSP (Global Shipping Program) is a typical eBay abortion.

I think the easy way to send a message to eBay US Sellers who use GSP is to leave them Negative Feedback when an item doesn't arrive which was shipped using GSP.

Unfair against the Seller you say....well it sure is, however I email them first and advise what I'm doing and why.

Most understand and simply Opt-Out of the GSP, or has been the more common result they deal with you direct.

Ebay are just SO DUMB, they can't run anything right and will now lose even more customers and $$$$$.

Thanks eBay, but the US Seller and I have just concluded a transaction outside eBay on the same items your GSP said couldn't be shipped to Australia (which of course was wrong as chainsaws are perfectly legal in Australia) you MUPPETS

What has this got to do with the GSP from the US and UK ??? The one feedback you've left for a seller mentioning Fastway was from an Australian seller. I wasn't aware that Pitney Bowes (ie GSP used Fastway at all - Fedex from the US anyway)

Oh, and BTW thanks for dragging up a 3 1/2 year old thread.....................sigh.

I think my finger hit the post button last night instead of the page button and sadly the option to delete comments is nonexistent.

I will add that negative feedback can be left for GSP sellers, they aren't untouchable, I just think you can't mention postage or GSP but surely it can be done.

You can give the seller negative feedback for the item but any negative feedback mentioning the GSP as being slow or expensive or badly packed will be removed by ebay.

In the past ebay has been super sensitive and removed all negatives for GSP items so it is pretty useless to leave it for any reason even if it is justified for the seller/item.

willpetewaitara, thanks for starting this thread. You will not get anyone that hates this vile global shipping Pitney Bowes scam more than me. I put this stinking process in the same bag with monsanto and big companies that polute our environment and make people sick. Yes,   ever since it has come on the scene or rather wormed itself into and between the seller to buyer process, I and other collectors have missed out on thing because we don't want to pay, double, triple, quadruple the price. This is like something out of George Orwell's 1984. 

I agree with you all the way my friend!

But, please, can I suggest something better than leaving negatives for sellers that use the Global Shiping / Pitney Bowes scam. How about praising every seller in feedback that does not use this horrid process. When an item arrives, really praise a seller with  .. .. ..  "Great service and communication. THANKS FOR NOT USING GLOBAL SHIPPING."  

And if an item arrves late because of Global Shipping which can be the case, just leave no feedback at all.  This is more constructive than leaving negative feedback. Some sellers are just real squares and go along with any kind of agenda that appears official. Others are frightend to buck what they think is the the part of th system. Some others just go with the flow. Some others don't realise that they have had this put on them and think they are providing the option for normal post.

Anyway, have a think about it. I do feel your frustration. Believe me I do!

Rather than leaving negatives for GSP sellers, leave glowing positive feedback for those sellers who care enough about their fellow man for not using it.
