Sorry for the whine, but more than once I've made a seller an offer and they've come back with a counter offer that's 50 cents (or less) of their original asking price. So why do they have the make an offer button? Do they get some kind of bonus by having it?
I've voted with my money (I don't buy from them), but its such a waist of time.

On hubby's ID, which is basically for selling unwanted &/or no longer used 'junk' from around the house, we usually list as Pick Up only as it's second hand & request Pay on Pick up, so if someone isn't happy, pure & simple, they don't pay & we just re-list, everyone is happy, but I am often amazed by the number of people who ask 'Will you post to wherever ?' and we've had quite a few buyers prepared to pay what I would consider ridiculous amounts of postage, simply because they say they cannot buy the items anywhere near where they live. Just another possibility to add to the mobility issues & agoraphobia
