Can I block a sellers ads appearing in my searches? I hate trawling through pages and pages of items from the one seller when I use a distance search.

I don't think you can block a seller but in your search try putting a - In front of one of their specific title words, and the search will eliminate all listings with that word in the title. Eg. If you were looking for authentic leather belt items but didn't want faux leather products try searching for "leather belt -faux" . Note no space between the - and the word. It's not a perfect method but it can make things easier!

If you are referring to certain sellers, you can exclude them in advanced search.
Then save the search if you are constantly looking at same items.
Many are not even aware of the features available in advanced search. ๐
Even better!

You can do the same when you search for any items,(you don't have to use Advanced search).
After selecting your search scroll down on the left hand side and under Sellers click
on Specify sellers.
Tick the box: Only show items from:
Tick the circle: Specific sellers (enter the seller's user ID)
Then select exclude from the drop down menu and enter the sellers ID,
(you can enter more then one seller ID by putting a comma in between their ID's).
Click on Go and now that seller is excluded.
If you then go to and click on Save search (where your number of items is).
This will put the search into your saved searches,
(which can be accessed through your my Ebay page).
