Is Australia Post delivering in NSW today (Monday 6 August) - I notice it is a bank holiday.

Can't speak for NSW, but bank hols in Qld - no postal deliveries, B-)

I just checked the tracking for a package I am expecting, and apparently it is on board with the driver for delivery today..

I'm guessing they are doing deliveries in NSW

My delivery driver has delivered today, NSW.  Also noticed St.George bank open at lge shopping centre but NAB not.

Sounds like the whole idea of a "bank" holiday is a bit of an anachronism these days.

I wonder if the transaction I just did with ING (Sydney based) will go through today and whether the Paypal transfers from last week that normally go through to my Comm Bank a/c will go through today.

Hmmm - not the end of the world, at least not for me (but my daughter - who is meant to be the recipient of the ING money may see it differently!).

As ING is 100% internet based, I doubt their computers know it's a holiday, or Commbank's for that matter.

Yeah but they are both Sydney based, and a "bank holiday" in their home state will be a good excuse to hang on to my money for an extra day!!!

We will see ... but they are both profit focussed banks 🙂

The post man and contractor have both delivered here today and the local banks are open...St George and Westpac.

I am in suburban Sydney.
