Note to buyers - be careful when selecting Ninja Mega Kitchen Systems if you are in Australia and buying models from the US. Just received one and it does not have a compatible plug. I thought I could fix it by buying an adaptor - NOOOO apparently they also have different voltages which means if I had tried the adaptor I would have blown up the unit. - now have to return the unit to the USA for a refund - more cost to me unfortunately. Lesson learned... BE AWARE!!

That is correct. 110v. We use 240v.

Doing your homework/research before a purchase can prove invaluable, as you have just found out.

you can buy a converter (tranformer) that will convert the voltage from 240 to 110.Try Dick Smiths or similar store

Other way around.. It needs to be converted from 110V to 240V

The voltage is already 240v here. It needs to be stepped down to 110v, which is what the machine requires.
To satisfy insurance requirements if it causes the house to burn down, it also needs to pass Australian Standards and probably needs to be tagged and tested as well.
