No response from seller

I put 4 items into my cart & clicked request total.Nothing happened.

Next day i msg seller asking to give me a revised invoice for combined post.No reply,so i tried the request total thing again & this time it sent a msg to seller requesting a total & said i had committed to purchase. All good since i want to purchase.

So a day & a half later there is still no word from the seller,no revised invoice.

Now i find 2 of the items are out of stock despite the listing saying more than 10 available & to chose another item.

Maybe there is something wrong with the seller, but with 5,665 active listings he really should have someone to take over if he has a problem.

It's annoying & now i want to cancel since 2 items i wanted are out of stock & i have no faith in this seller now.I'd rather buy from someone who is more reliable now.

3 days since my initial message & not a peep from the seller.Item no. 221569537254 is the 1st item, now out of stock.

With no comms from the seller what can i do?

Re: No response from seller

Putting items into your cart is NOT purchasing them.

You need to click on buy now and then confirm and then the seller can send a combined invoice.

Till you purchase an invoice can not be sent.

Re: No response from seller

I requested total which committed me to buy.I can't hit buy now as apparently i already bought them.

The seller's listing said he combines post & to wait for revised invoice before paying. He hasn't done that.

All 4 are in my purchase history for nearly 2 days now with the big blue button saying Pay Now.

I guess i will just pay extra for individual post on each item& hope the 2 that say out of stock are actually available.

Re: No response from seller

Usually if I planning buy multiple items from the same seller I would message the seller first of my intentions and wait for a response. If no response within a resonable wait time, I move onto the next seller of similar or same products. In your case you appear to have already committed to the purchases.

Poor communication from any seller should tell you to move on anyway. Normal logic does not apply to the world of Ebay.......
