Non Mailing of Purchases

Have recently made 3 purchases through eBay , two with discounts one without, both discounted with eBay  plus have not even been posted. contacted both sellers one refunded money (which is useless as i have wasted time and days) second went on holidays the day after i ordered and has been back for 6 days ( 17 days from purchase) and still not dispatched item, one without discount has mailed and tracking is being updated daily. Why do we pay for Plus when we use discounts and sellers does not honor sale.

My Ebay plus will not be renewed.

My Ebay plus will not be renewed.

Good idea.

As far as the rest goes use the tools eBay give you. Which is the Money Back Guarantee. Assuming you have actually read what it entails.

You pay for eBay plus because you choose to do so

There is no need to tell other members you are not going to renew it

How have you wasted time and days?

If something does not arrive, you open and follow through with a dispute

Which would take less time than it did to post here to tell other members you are not renewing

However, do remember to cancel before the next paid period is due

The seller you left the neg for has garbage feedback, as do several of the sellers you choose

That comes down to repeated bad buying choices, eBay plus does not get you anything good from buying from dodgy sellers over and over

Sellers have to get the items to you by the estimated dates of arrival. That's their job.

You as a buyer need to double check the expected arrival dates and be happy with them before you buy.

If something does not arrive when it should and does not even appear to be posted, don't mess around, open a proper ebay dispute for an item not received. You don't contact the seller, you do it through ebay. And follow it up.

I would not say being refunded your money is 'useless'.  The seller who refunded at least saved you having to open a dispute. Yes, you've lost time but at least you have your money back.

You need to check out sellers really carefully before you lay your money on the line, just read their feedback first to make sure they don't have a habit of cancelling orders and so on.

Ebay plus is useful to some buyers, but not everyone.

I don't think it will be membership of ebay plus as such that is causing the problems though, it will come down to the individual sellers.
