Hi,
Just want a bit of feed back on my next move if I have any.
I bought a pair of head light covers for my Camaro. They arrived, opened the box and saw they didn't look like the pictures on the sellers site. They looked OK so ignored it and went to fit them. Attached the brackets, fitted the drivers side cover and then realised they were both drivers side covers. Took photo's and contacted the seller.
They responded and told me they'll contact the manufacture and send another cover. Waited a week and still heard nothing so contacted them again. Same story. Contacted them again, same story. Another week, asked agian which the response was the manufacture will allow me to send them back for a refund. I replied yesturday asking who pays for shipping and are the items going to be accepted now being opened and fitted bar one cover. Waiting for a reply. If they do accept them (doubt it) and if I have to pay back and forth of said covers, they cost me alone nearly twice just in postage.
Now if I get a sorry you opened and used the items response, do I just put it down to experience or contact Ebay? Their return policy is in original box un used etc, wrong item as pictured and same side covers inside discovered while fitting?
Thanks

I bet it was a Chinese seller.
They like to stall as long as they can so you have no recourse.
Never let a seller stall you.
If it's not too late, open a case in ebay for Item not as described.
If it's too late, you have 180 days to open a case in Paypal.
If they want them back, then the seller pays for postage.

As Stawka said make sure all your contact with this company is via eBay messages.
That way you have a trail of information in writing, which can be referred to if needed by eBay.
