Owner not responding to messages about item won

I recently won an item on auction and could not pay for the item as a result of a problem with the ownwer's paypal account.

I sent numerous messages to the seller, but they have never responded.

How do I resolve this and receive my item or have the transaction completely cancelled?

At the moment there is a problem with buyers paying with paypal,I have several buyers who can't pay because of a glich so if the seller is willing to get paid by other means then you just need to message the seller and explain to them that there is a problem with paypal and would they be ok with another form of payment and if not then the seller will need to wait until this issue has been resolved.I'm positive that paypal already know and are trying to fix it.

i just bought something using paypal and it worked straight away

wait until the seller gets back to you but dont pay with bank deposit

Same here. I won & paid for an item using Paypal just before 10 this morning no worries.
