Re: Paying by echeck miss sale coupon price?question

Usually an offer will mean you make the purchase and the discount is applied immediately.

Then when you make the payment only the dicounted price is taken from your account and the voucher provider pays the rest.

So I would say yes, you get the discount irrespective of whether it's an e-cheque or immediate payment because the discount happens before payment.

Once payment is made, it is considered a paid sale in eBay.

Can you purposely pay using an echeque? I thought it was something that just happened........?

Re: Paying by echeck miss sale coupon price?question

It is an echeque when you fund the payment with your bank account Tippy.

If that is the funding source used then it is an echeque...but it is also instant if you have a credit or Visa debit card as a backup funding source.

I have occasionally had a debit card funded payment default to an echeque, but not very often.

My PayPal account is funded with my bank account and all my payments are instant. Have been for years. Originally they would be eCheques then one day I made a payment and it was instant.

Re: Paying by echeck miss sale coupon price?question

Most of the time my PayPal account has money in it, but when it doesn't, my payments are funded from my bank account. Mine have always been instant. Well, I assume they have been because the $ sign turns blue and I get a postage notification the next day. I do have a credit card linked, but I never use that. Maybe that's why?

I don't have a credit card.
Talking about credit cards Citibank used to send me preapproved credit card applications constantly. One day I filled one in and sent it back to them.
Strangely I don't get anything from them any more
