Please help with wrong tracking number!!!

Hi Everyone,

I returned the item to seller, provided tracking number through Ebay Resolution Centre but when I double checked again, I discovered there is one missing number from the tracking code, I tried to find a way to correct but unsuccessful. With one number is missing, I dont think it show up the processes and delivery of an item. Appreciate for any advice and help. Thank you

If you do know the correct number, firstly check how the tracking is going yourself. If it looks OK, send the tracking number via an email to Paypal/ebay and give them any reference numbers that pertain to the transaction/dispute, let them know you made a mistake when entering the numbers - we all make mistakes from time to time. Also let the seller know the correct tracking number so they know you aren't trying to mess them around.

A tracking number doesn't meet Paypal's proof of postage requirements unless it shows delivery to the seller's suburb on return of an item. You should upload the lodgement receipt (Tax Invoice) supplied at purchase of postage showing the seller's postcode.
