Post edited? Who else has had this done?

My first post was edited,  and I can understand why, but when things go wrong, and you need to spend much of your day finding out how to contact eBay and how to resolve issues, most people would do what I did.

It isn't just eBay that is treating us so very badly.

The issue that I did bring up was about the so-called rewards that we get, which are anything but that.

These are just paid adverts and nothing is free.

eBayers need to take a stand and make eBay a good and fair corporate citizen. They need to make it much easier for the newer buyers and sellers to contact, when help is needed. Sure, there will be time wasted, but that is business.

How many of you out there found the resolution to your issues an easy fix? Let me know.

Mods only edit a post if it breaks forum rules or was posted in the incorrect forum

But the fact remains, avoid clicking on third party scam ads

And any issues I have had on my account as a buyer/seller, I use the tools every buyer/seller is given to resolve very easily

But I also check feedback before I buy

eBayers do need to take a stand, mostly by not buying from dodgy as sellers and then blaming eBay for their own poor choices

The member to member forum is here for all the help in the world

Rarely a reason or need to contact eBay, if what one is seeking is factual advice

If one wants a scripted response with false promises, eBay help is at the top of every page, which only requires 'speak to an agent' to be typed into the chatbot

All buyers and sellers also have the choice to read the buying/selling basics or not

Personally I would not buy from any website without knowing what I was doing

As Sandy said, you probably broke forum rules if the post was edited.

I never see those 3rd party ads because I have Adblock plus on my browser. download it if your browser doesn't have it - Firefox has it and it just needs to be activated.
