Hi all, looking at making a purchase of an item weighing 30kg, and the postage is listed as $69 for NSW, but higher for other states.
When asking the seller a question regarding which freight company they use, they informed me that the freight would be $75 to a commercial address and $95 to a residential address. This is not stated anywhere in the listing, just the $69 flat to anywhere in NSW. Don't know wheather to just pay the quoted price as is comes up in the buy now , which is just under $500 including the freight, or to ask for an invoice to prevent any hassles getting it delivered. Meant to add, I am in NSW.

Just pay whatever the listing says. So if the listing says $69.00 then once you purchase they want more then too bad don't pay it. They will have to send it or cancel the transaction. If they don't send it if can always lodge an item not received dispute if you pay by paypal

If you are in NSW and it says postage for NSW $69 then thats what it is.

Australia Post has a maximum rate for a parcel of 22kg so they are using some sort of courier. They are using a flat rate within NSW so it is probably a small courier.
So what is the reason they are telling you it is postage when it cant be and they are not telling you the courier.
I would not buy it.
